When something is "raw", in the culinary sense, then it means that the product was never heated over 118 degrees. Kombucha must be raw to contain any nutritional value. It is a living drink that if heated then the live probiotics would be destroyed. The juices that go into flavoring each kombucha are flash pasturized because all raw juice would become perishable after just a few days. Adding raw foods in your diet will aid in digestion, boost your immune system and improve your overall health.
We are a locally owned and operated business in Ocean City, Maryland that specializes in raw, organic kombucha. We are the first and only kombucha brewers on the east coast of Maryland. We are also one of the only kombucha brewers on the eastern shore. Kombucha is a healthy fermented tea containing live probiotics, vitamins, and electrolytes. It's fermented with a live symbiotic culture of yeast and bacteria (similar to that of yogurt).
